Spiritual Guidance

Since 1909, Tennessee Children’s Home has helped restore and strengthen families by spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our faith-based environment reaches out to at-risk children and families by emphasizing the virtues of a Christian lifestyle.

There are three roads a person can take; Wrong Way, Merge or One Way. Many young people in our care have taken the wrong way. Some have tried merging some good and bad choices. Tennessee Children’s Home helps get young people on the right path, the right road, the one way.

Jesus says, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Young people need directions to right way. With daily Bible study being taught in our on-site schools, we give the young people the map to God and making better choices. Our programs include daily Bible study, church attendance, weekly chapel and devotionals with our residents.

Our caring staff encourages children’s spiritual growth and awareness through personal examples, daily devotions, prayers at meals and encouragement of regular church attendance.

In the words of our President, Brian King, “I believe we will see Christian young men and women living for Jesus for many years to come because of the spiritual guidance they have been given at the Tennessee Children’s Home.”

With your help, Tennessee Children’s Home can continue providing Christ-based activities and help young people build stronger relationships with God and their communities.
